Is it bad that my hair has dried up and my skin is peeling and my lips are really cracked already my eyes are also very red and sore and i’ve come out in a few rashes, i never thought it would take affect so quickly. I’m actually rather embarrased to go out with Acne and peeling skin exactly when I’m on work experience too, light foundation isn’t covering it either and i’ve been mosterising and using lip balm, and conditioning my hair I guess its just a matter of time and patience, is there any good products anyone could suggest to me at all, that maybe are better than using everyday average lip balm, mosteriser ect.

Hi! I started roaccutane on 13th July 2012 so tomorrow will be my one week mark of being on the medication. I went to the doctors this morning because I also am experiencing the same side effects and I’ve only been on them 6 days! My face is really sore and dry, im using E45 moisturiser suggested by my dermatologist and Vaseline for my lips. I also bought eye drops from the chemist to help them when they dry. My email is: brogansneddon@gmail.com if you have any other questions since we are on the same stuff! Good luck on roaccutane!

Hi . . It would be interesting to know how many mg you are on . . . I’m currently on my 8th week at 20mg . . . the dermatologist didn’t up my dose last month as I had quite a severe reaction after 4 weeks, my skin just exploded into lots and lots more spots and couldn’t go to school because of it , they do seem not to be as angry and inflammed but there are still lots more coming out . . . the only side effect I’m experiencing is very dry lips but I’m using carmex and blisteze all the time and constantly carry them around with me . . . great to hear other stories . . and it really helps comparing notes . . . will keep you posted off to the dermatologist to get my 3rd month supply let’s hope he up’s the dose and get rid of these pesky spots . . . keep strong
