Hey all
Just wanted some reassurance – the trip to the dermatologist is usually fairly brief so don’t really discuss my progress so much. I’m on week 11 now (of probably about 20, I’d imagine, although taking a break of a couple of weeks over Christmas – apparently we’re allowed to – huge relief!) – and still have a couple of niggly spots coming up on my cheeks but also these large lumps that were there before treatment started that just won’t budge. Bit gruesome too, but an enormous cyst at the top of my leg has appeared too, hoping the antibiotics will beat him up for me, but it’s just so disheartening as it was all going well up until now! Really don’t want to be dealing with this near Christmas time as I can’t walk as far etc.
Thanks,
Sophie

Hi Soph, wow that seems really similar to me. I’m at week 13 and have had prednisolone over the past month because of big lumpy cysts on my back and under my chin that wouldn’t move. I also got a massive cyst on my leg about 3 weeks ago. They have flattened but they’re still there, still getting the odd spot on my face as well.
Went to my dermatologist this week she seemed to think that 20 weeks would do it. Fingers crossed! x

Yeah it is just about ploughing on through I guess. Patience is definitely a virtue!
