Hi, yeah some peoples hair does seem to fall out more while on Roac but I think it is only while you are on the tablets. I’m currently 9 weeks in & I was losing quite a bit of hair but also I was still washing it every day which wasn’t helping – now it’s really dry so I’m only washing it 2/3 times a week so I’m not losing as much

Doing everything I can to prevent it and I didn’t loose any today in the shower! I purchased some hair oil and tgel shampoo.. Works wonders!

Hi there . . .

yipee
Try not to worry too much, some people on “R” do suffer from a little more hair loss than usual, I think this is because everything is drying up and the hair & scalp become more itchy and dry. Thankfully I haven’t noticed any hair loss (than usual anyway) but I only have to wash it twice a week which will obviously help, perhaps if you reduce the amount you shampoo it, I was recommended T Gel shampoo or perhaps try one for sensitive scalp will help. As Betty mentioned this is only whilst you are on “R” so it’s only temporary
Good luck with the rest of your course
Today is my last day of taking the tablets after 6 months !!!!

Thanks! Yes I purchased tgel and other hair care products and it has definitely prevented any further hairloss .. Phew.
And I bet that’s a relief! Enjoy your time off roaccutane and acne free!! (Can’t wait till me treatment it up) !

Hello!
I totally know what you mean, I was *completely* stressed out and scared I would end up bald when this happened to me a few weeks back. You will be pleased to know I still have all my hair and you will too! I went to my doctor and told her about this, she suggested I wash my hair less often (I used to wash it every other day) and this did the trick for me, my hair has been ok since then
Hope this helps!
