hi I was wondering if anyone has used bio oil whilst still on R? I have used it the last couple of days, a small amount on my cheeks but I googled it today and there are so many different opinions on weather you can or cant. Apparently the vitamin a in it is such a small amount that it shouldn’t really affect you but I just wanted to know if anyone else has used it and what were the results/effects? I didn’t even know there was vit a in it until I googled it today lol
also, I eat quite a lot of carrots, just as a post work out snack with hummous and came across a site where someone said you shouldn’t eat them on R??? is that for real?

I would definitely ignore the carrots comment that sounds ridiculous!
Bio oil wise – I’m not sure if it is damaging to use it, but I find that it’s really heavy so I was worried about what it would do to my skin – i.e. clogging it up more.
A few people on here recommended jojoba oil instead, it mimicks sebum and in moisturising and good for scars and I’ve found that this works really well. Plus it won’t clog pores or make them any worse.

Thank you, I will have to see if I can find jojoba oil instead. Someone did mention it to me before but I forgot all about it.
