I’ve had my initial dermatology appointment and gone for my blood test and I’m due for another appointment at the dermatology later this month. Does anyone know whether I’ll be given the tablets straight away providing my blood test results were ok?

I've had acne since I was 11 and tried all the treatments both topical and oral. I did have improvements but it's never cleared up entirely. I've even tried laser therapy which did clear it up mostly but it came back worse within a couple of months. I'm 20 now and it's quite severe now although it initally started out quite mild.

I had a blood test, went to see derm 2 weeks later and they prescribed me the tablets straight away.
