Has anyone ever been told to stop taking Ro after only 11 days in?
My initial breakout was very bad and i phoned my derm to ask ask if there was anything else i could take to stop it being so bad, i was then told over the phone that i had to stop the tablets untill i see him tomorrow. That will be 2 days i have been off them.
This happened to anyone else? i was only on 40mg per day and was told my breakout should not have been bad. i will wait and see what he says to me!
The breakout is really bad though!!

I don’t think you should have been told to come off it! An initial breakout is so common. I had a massive breakout too.. Like so bad I couldn’t leave the house. You will probably be told to go back on it.. But I don’t think 2 days will really effect your course of treatment. Good luck with the rest of your time on it, if your derm decides to put you back on! Hi Marky,
Like Nammy said two days will not effect your treatment, R is in your system.
I have to say that I’m surprised that your dermatologist told you to come off it. It’s normal to have an outbreak in the first couple of weeks especially. If anything it is working really well. I think if you were experiencing horrendous side effects then I could understand.
One thing I have noticed since coming on this board is the difference of opinions from dermatologists. Please seek a second opinion if your dermatologist advises you to come off R. Or you might be advised to go on a lower dose? I know it is rough the outbreak but you will get passed it. Let us know how you get on…. best of luck Mark.
