Hi All,
I can’t believe that I finish tomorrow, wow!! All the worrying and apprehension all now over with because I have done it! I can’t wait to take those last tablets tomorrow.
Skin wise I still have one spot on my forehead and it’s very persistent but it’s under the skin and hardly noticeable. I’m very pleased with my skin and if it stays like this I’m happy.
I should get a follow up appointment any time soon from the Derm. I’ve had the full dose for my weight so hopefully it will be the case of signing me off. I’ve found it quite tough the last four weeks, eye infection has been bothering me the most plus feeling tired and a bit low. I do feel the last week the treatment has just done that extra push i.e. flaky skin and red rash on my hands.
I did miscount my tablets and thought I was finishing on the 12th so it was a nice surprise to realise it was tomorrow. I have to say after reading other people’s post I have got off very lightly with the side effects. Five months of R… hard work at times but not as bad as I thought it would be and I’ve done it!! To anyone considering going on this or in the early stages, go for it and stick it out.. it is so worth it.
Oh and Cookie… any chance I could join you for cocktails?:-) Anything with Baileys in, I’m not fussy!
Take care all, enjoy the rest of your weekend,
LOL

That’s fantastic. I’m so pleased you’ve had such great results. I’m still waiting to start but hopefully they’ll start me on Thursday when I go back to the hospital.
Please keep as all updated with how you’re getting on! Your comments have been very valuable in my preparation for taking Roaccutane.
Well Done!

I’m so glad you’ve had good results from R and that you’ve made it to the end of your roaccutane journey (or should that be, the beginning of your clear skin life?!) such a special moment!! Have yourself a big glass of Baileys on the rocks tonight! xxx

Hi
Thanks for your comments, it’s much appreciated.
My skin is looking great and my lips are almost back to normal, quick eh!:)
One thing I’m finding strange is in the 3 or 4 days I’ve started with joint ache in my legs. Hopefully this will pass in a week or so.
It will be done with before you know it!

Hi Vanessa!
WOW I cant’t believe you’re done, that’s amazing!! It’s been so great getting updates from you along the course. I hope you’re skin continues to be clear, from the looks of things the fact that we’re older might help us in that regard. Here’s to future clear skin and life post roaccutane
